In the bountiful autumn, head to two sake breweries crafting renowned sake and Kasama Inari Shrine! The "Ibaraki Premium Sake Brewery Tour: Savoring Local Sake and Flavors" will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026. This one-day-only "premium" day-trip sake brewery bus tour departs from and returns to Tokyo Station, visiting Raifuku Sake Brewery (flagship brand: Raifuku) in Chikusei, founded in 1716, and Isokura Sake Brewery (flagship brand: Inasato) in Kasama, founded in 1868. For lunch, participants can enjoy a special pairing experience tasting local sake alongside a unique menu highlighting Ibaraki's food culture at "Meshidokoro Yokota," a popular local favorite. Additionally, visitors will refresh mind and body by paying homage at Kasama Inari Shrine, one of Japan's top three Inari shrines with a 1,300-year history. On this tour, Mona Iizawa, the 2022 Miss SAKE Osaka representative, will guide participants. This special tour delivers a one-day-only "premium experience" where guests can connect with the history, culture, and brewers' passion while tasting and discussing celebrated sake.
