About this event

This event is held to commemorate the publication of "Chikyu no Arukikata Sumida Ward." Themed around the Edo culture remaining in Sumida, Part 1 opens with a mini concert by the Tokyo Metropolitan Honjo High School Koto Club. In Part 2, there will be greetings by the Mayor of Sumida Ward, an introduction to key highlights of "Chikyu no Arukikata Sumida Ward" by the editorial department of Chikyu no Arukikata Co., Ltd., and the debut presentation of the town-walking leaflet "Sumida no Arukikata: Immersed in Edo." In Part 3, under the themes of "My Favorite Edo Sumida" and "Sumida Continuing from Edo," a talk show will be held welcoming distinguished guests alongside the Mayor of Sumida Ward: Stablemaster Naruto (former Ozeki Kotooshu), the producer of the Chikyu no Arukikata editorial department, and the Chairperson of the Sumida City Tourism Association. At the event venue, books available for purchase on the day and the town-walking leaflet introducing various stopover spots such as gourmet food and gardens related to Edo culture will also be introduced.
