The 'Ward Exhibition (Meguro Citizen Art Exhibition)', held since 1977 to commemorate the establishment of Meguro Citizen's Day (October 1), reaches its 50th edition this year. This commemorative exhibition displays a diverse range of works created by ward residents, including handicrafts, photography, paintings, and calligraphy. Every year, many works are submitted, providing a space for exhibitors and visitors to interact. It is an opportunity to casually showcase artwork, held at the Meguro Museum of Art. Artwork drop-off is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, Reiwa 8 (2026), from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and pick-up is on the final day of the exhibition, Sunday, September 27, Reiwa 8 (2026), from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. To submit an entry, applicants must review the application guidelines and apply via postcard or web form by Friday, August 7, Reiwa 8 (2026). If applications exceed the display capacity, entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The displayed works are also scheduled to be showcased on Meguro Ward's official YouTube channel, 'Meguro TV'.
