OTA Fureai Festa 2026: 80th Anniversary of Ota City

Celebrating its 37th edition, 'OTA Fureai Festa 2026', Ota City's largest municipal festival, will be held. Preparations are currently underway to ensure all visitors enjoy the event. Details will be announced sequentially as they are confirmed. The executive committee is seeking sponsorship funds from organizations and companies that support the festival's purpose, and received sponsorships will be carefully used for venue setup and event operations. In addition, participants are being recruited for the Young Stage in the Sun Area on Saturday, November 7, targeting youths (up to around 30 years old) living, studying, or working in the city, with opportunities to perform band music, musical instruments, dance, chorus, etc. Furthermore, on Sunday, November 8, participants are also being recruited for the OTA Friendly Concert for groups active within the city, with performances planned for bands, musical instruments, dance, chorus, etc. The event will be held across Omori Furusato-no-Hamabe Park, Boat Race Heiwajima, Heiwajima Park, and Heiwa-no-Mori Park. Boat Race Heiwajima will be used as a venue for the first time in 4 years.
