Urban Sports Athletic Meet 2026 in Asukayama

About this event

The 'Urban Sports Athletic Meet 2026 in Asukayama', the first urban sports festival in Kita-ku, Tokyo, will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Asukayama Park Multipurpose Plaza. At the venue, you can enjoy free trial experiences of urban sports such as climbing, parkour, sprint challenge (ultra-short-distance sprint), and slacklining. An approximately 8-meter climbing tower, an approximately 3-meter bouldering wall, parkour experiences using obstacle sets, a sprint challenge competing on 10m times, and a slackline experience balancing on a thin, swaying line are prepared. In addition, impressive performances by Japan's top-level climbing and parkour athletes will be showcased twice (morning and afternoon), and DJs, stage events, and food trucks are scheduled, offering a full day of enjoyment just by visiting the venue. This event aims to help residents, especially younger generations, build new exercise habits and is packed with programs that parents and children can enjoy together. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
