About this event

As part of 'Stage Excitement Operation' held at Itabashi Municipal Culture Hall, 'Giant Cardboard Sculpture Painting: Colorful Animals Gathering,' where children paint colorful paints on giant cardboard animals, and 'Animal Music Carnival' by musicians active on the front lines will be held. Children can challenge themselves with large-scale art creation that they cannot usually experience by freely painting cardboard animals such as lions and elephants measuring about 2 meters. The instructor is Atelier Yamada, which runs workshops utilizing cardboard and scrap wood nationwide. In the concert on the following day, the giant animals created by the children will appear as stage decorations, and familiar songs for children, classical music, and more will be performed alongside an authentic brass quintet performance. There are also participatory songs using hand clapping and cardboard maracas, making it a special summer vacation experience program blending art and music that can be enjoyed by watching, listening, and participating.
