Hachioji Co-Creation Fest 2026

The 'Hachioji Co-Creation Fest 2026', one of the largest regional co-creation events in the Hachioji area, will be held for 2 days on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 'Soto-no-Mori', a new exchange hub opening near the South Exit of Hachioji Station. Planned and operated by 'Karakuri', a student organization led by a Meisei University student, a variety of programs will unfold under the concept 'A starting point of students, by students, interacting with the local community.' Guided by the philosophy 'From Consumer to Creator,' it aims to create a space where students think and act for themselves to achieve successful experiences. With the theme of 'Exploration & Secret Base' using the entire venue as a stage, it is conducted as a walking-tour-style event where visitors can enjoy their own discoveries and encounters. Featured highlights include 'Korekikara? Exhibition', an interactive exhibit turning '?' into '!' in participants' minds, the 'Food & Market Exploration Promenade' featuring 15 food trucks and 13 market stalls, and the 'Circulation Quest' where visitors tour the venue holding a dedicated 'Exploration Notebook'. Preparations are underway for an event scale of several thousand people, aiming to provide an opportunity for students, the community, and visitors to connect naturally.
