About this event
The "Nishin Goten Tomari" Event 2026 "Echoes of the Banquet - Remembering the Late Mr. Tadayoshi Takei," held at Nishin Goten Tomari in Tomari Village, is an event to remember Mr. Tadayoshi Takei and share local culture and vibrancy. At the event, a Rakugo gathering will be held in the Kyakuden (guest hall) starting at 10:30, allowing visitors to savor the charm of traditional performing arts. Following that, a music gathering will take place in the same Kyakuden starting at 13:00, offering a moment enveloped in pleasant music. Furthermore, a mochimaki (rice cake tossing) will be held from 14:30, deepening the sense of unity with the visitors at the venue. Admission to the event is free, and touring the inside of the facility is also possible. In addition, a corner selling specialty products of Tomari Village will be set up, allowing visitors to enjoy local tastes and souvenirs. We sincerely look forward to your visit.
