At the Tama Municipal Green Live Center located within Tama Central Park, 'Green Summer Park 2026', an event perfect for making summer vacation memories, will be held. Together with university students from the Chuo University Volunteer Center, participants can enjoy crafts and hands-on activities using familiar natural materials. Main programs include authentic nagashi somen (flowing somen noodles) using bamboo (advance reservation required, fee applies, limited spots), bamboo stilt (take-pokkuri) making (fee applies, limited spots), and candle making (free, first-come-first-served basis). Visitors can also enjoy active zones such as 'Water Survival Game' (free, water gun rentals available) where people can play freely with water guns, and the science activity 'Run a Toy Train with Solar Power' (free) where toy trains run using solar panels. This event lets you fully enjoy a summer moment in the lush green environment of the Tama Municipal Green Live Center.
