About this event
On Sports Day, Monday, October 12, 2026 (public holiday), 'Sweating Sports DAY' and the '40th Budo Festival' will be held simultaneously across three venues in Tama City. It will be a day for citizens to experience various sports; at the Budo Festival, demonstrations by 9 organizations will be showcased in the morning, and hands-on martial arts experiences across 8 disciplines (excluding Kyudo) will be held in the afternoon. The Kokushikan University Judo Club will also appear for a special demonstration, and comedian Watari 119 will participate as a guest. At Sweating Sports DAY, each facility will host different activities, including sports classes and free facility access. The venues are divided into three locations: Reform Price Tama Arena, Tama Higashi Park, and Aqua Blue Tama, and participants are encouraged to check details based on the activities they wish to join. The martial arts trial sessions are designed so beginners can easily participate.
