About this event
Held in Nishitokyo City, the '2026 Event Festival: Nishitokyo Everyone's Exhibition (Min-ten)' is a citizen-created art exhibition. From Monday, August 31 to Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the ASTA 2F Center Court venue, open-call art and illustration exhibits will be displayed alongside daily sponsor-presented art events. On the first day, there will be an exhibition of the same model bat used by Shohei Ohtani in the WBC, a paper-clay craft workshop for children, and a drawing workshop by a professional animator. On the second day, visitors can enjoy a musical performance titled 'Harmony of Sound and Color' by Sound Office Core, and on the third day, a gospel music performance featuring instruments and vocals by Rental Room Plume. On the fifth day, a singing audition will be held as a preliminary contest for the 'Nishitokyo City Artist Audition 2026' hosted by Blanc LLC, and on the sixth day, a live show by singer-song-drummer Tokyo Tetra and an oversized croquis performance by leading figures in the Japanese painting world will be presented. On the final day, the Mayor of Nishitokyo, Superintendent of Education, City Council Chairperson, and sponsoring partners will attend, and an award ceremony will be conducted. All of these events can be enjoyed free of charge.
