The Kozushima Nagisa Fireworks Festival is a summer tradition held on the Maehama Coast in Kozushima Village, Tokyo. The 33rd festival in 2026 was originally scheduled for Monday, August 3, but was postponed to Thursday, September 17 due to the approach of Typhoon No. 13. The fireworks will be launched from 7:30 PM, illuminating the summer night sky. It is an event unique to island travel where you can enjoy fireworks close to the sea. In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to a backup date. The organizer is the Kozushima Tourism Association, and inquiries are accepted by phone at 04992-8-0321. As for past dates, the 32nd festival took place on Monday, August 4, 2025.
