About this event

"A Happy Day Playing with Science" is a hands-on science event held at "Shin-Kawasaki Sozo no Mori," an advanced technology R&D hub located in Saiwai Ward, Kawasaki City. This year, companies and organizations based in the Shin-Kawasaki area will host exhibits featuring content that allows children to learn about the wonders of science while having fun. A wide variety of programs will be offered, including making terrestrial digital TV antennas, slow-motion video experiments using high-speed cameras, branch craft making, and nature observation. Through these hands-on experiences, visitors can enjoy learning about the mysteries of invisible radio waves, exploring the slow-motion world of a falling pudding, and understanding the role of forests. No advance registration is required, and numbered tickets will be distributed on the day for some workshops. It is an excellent opportunity to experience the wonders and fun of science.
