The Takatsu Ward Children & Parenting Festa is an event supporting moms and dads raising children, offering fun activities for parents and kids as well as a variety of parenting resources. Marking its 22nd edition, numerous participating organizations will gather to provide an extensive program for a full day of fun. The opening concert features a sing-along concert suitable for ages 0 and up, starring Sumie Sakurai, known as the "Songstress of Kawasaki." The "Create" corner offers Kitpas handprint art, handmade toys, balloon art, and original pochette pouch crafting. The "See, Listen & Experience" corner includes inclusive sports trials, picture book reading sessions, a mini-theater, singing experiences, and daycare facility artwork exhibitions. The "Play" corner features an exciting sports festival game booth, a pop-up Yume Park using natural materials, and button badge making. Additionally, the "Parent-Child Food Education Class" will be held to make simple dishes together. As a concurrent event, "Drumming High!", a participatory rhythm attraction conceived by JUDY AND MARY drummer Kohta Igarashi, will also take place. Admission is free with no capacity limit, making it easy for friends and families with children to drop by.
