10th East Japan Half Marathon

Set in Sagamihara, the "City of Space," the 10th East Japan Half Marathon is a special half marathon where participants run through a US military base in Japan that is normally off-limits. The extraordinary feeling of running through the vast base merges with space-themed staging to provide a running experience available nowhere else. Through diverse race categories including the half marathon, 8km, and ekiden relay, runners can race while feeling a sense of space and the future. It is ideal for runners aiming to set a personal best or those taking on a half marathon for the first time, and is well-suited for building mileage toward the autumn marathon season. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy merchandise from space projects, live gospel club performances, interactions with Sagamihara's official mascot "Sagamin," and an American-style atmosphere with friends and family. The commemorative 10th edition will be celebrated together with all runners.
