About this event
Held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Chigasaki Citizen Activity Support Center in Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, "Kodotan mini 2026" is an experiential exchange event supporting children's "I want to try that!" spirit. 15 community groups will gather to offer crafting and workshops. Children can experience society, daily life, arts, and community from perspectives different from school, which might also provide hints for summer vacation independent research projects. Admission is free, but some activities may require a fee. The content is designed to be enjoyed by a wide range of generations, from preschoolers and elementary/junior high school students to adults and seniors. In a space full of pleasant relaxation and excitement, it offers opportunities to discover new interests and talents.
