The "Bon Bamboo Lantern Festival in Miura Peninsula 2026 Enfuku-ji Venue" will be held at Enfuku-ji Temple in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture. In this event that magically colors the summer night, approximately 300 to 500 handmade bamboo lanterns will be lit within the temple grounds, creating a special space enveloped in light. Heartwarming activities are prepared, such as letter prayers to remember ancestors and Tanabata decorations, allowing visitors to experience an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and solemn. A special public unveiling of the Jizo statue will take place, and bamboo lantern red-ink stamps will also be distributed. Three stalls are scheduled to open, making it an ideal event to spend a summer evening with loved ones.
