About this event

Cherished as an autumn tradition in Ebina, the "Nakashinden Scarecrow Festival" will be held again this year. Aiming to generate local vibrancy, unique and masterfully crafted scarecrows will color the rice paddies. This year marks the 34th edition of the festival. Applications for scarecrow entries are accepted from Wednesday, July 15 to Thursday, August 20, and anyone can participate. Additionally, a "Scarecrow Making Workshop" that parents and children can enjoy will be held on Saturday, August 22. The exhibition will take place from Saturday, September 5 to Sunday, September 20 in the rice paddies on the south side of Ebina General Hospital, offering great accessibility just a 5-minute walk from Atsugi Station (Odakyu Line and JR Sagami Line). The venue has been changed to the rice paddies on the south side of Ebina General Hospital since 2024.
