Kawawa Shrine Fair 2026

About this event

On Sunday, August 23, 2026, "Kawawa Shrine de Goennichi" will be held on the grounds of Kawawa Shrine in Ninomiya Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. At this event creating local community exchange and connections, food booths offering crepes, takoyaki, shaved ice, and more will be present, alongside handmade and craft goods booths where you can find original keychains and antique sundries. In addition, you can experience a workshop to paint blessed wind chimes to create your own original wind chime. The children's fair features lottery games, snack fishing, soccer game activities, and a photo card creation booth, making it fun for the entire family. Furthermore, a live cello concert by Aya Shirai will be held starting at 17:00. Admission is free to enjoy this summer festival.
