Watatsumi Ocean Town Good Catch and Bountiful Harvest Festival: 20th Manazuru Yosakoi Big Catch Festival 2026

About this event

This event aims to introduce and promote the industries of Manazuru Town widely to tourists, deepen understanding of local industries, expand local consumption, revitalize and promote industries, invigorate the economy of neighboring cities and towns, and contribute to regional revitalization. It broadly conveys the charm and value of Manazuru Town, which has coexisted with the sea, and provides an opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy. On the day of the event, as the 'Good Catch and Bountiful Harvest Market,' many food and beverage booths are scheduled to open at the venue. Visitors can enjoy street-procession Yosakoi dancing as well as stationary performances held on Japan's only offshore barge stage. The stationary performances are subject to a contest, where the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Good Performance Award winners are awarded fresh seafood from Manazuru as supplementary prizes. Fireworks are also scheduled after the grand finale dance (So-odori).
