📅 Sat, Sep 19, 2026
About this event
A 'Starry Sky Class' where you can enjoy observing the moon with an astronomical telescope will be held in Yugawara Onsen. At the event, participants will first craft an original andon paper lantern using washi paper under the guidance of Japanese-style painter Anna Miyahara. The crafted lanterns can be taken home. Afterwards, you can enjoy music of Japanese harmony and tranquility with a starry sky acoustic concert against the backdrop of the night sky by singer-songwriter SYUI_Shiyu. In the main moon observation segment, you will carefully observe the moon floating in the night sky using an astronomical telescope. Designed for beginners, it is recommended for anyone who wants to casually enjoy stargazing. The event will be held at Manyo Park Yugawara Soyu Entrance Terrace, allowing you to spend a special night while immersing yourself in the nature of the hot spring resort area.
