Sea of Japan Sunset Fireworks 2026

About this event

"Nihonkai Yuhi Fireworks 2026," held at Shinkawa Fishing Port in Nishi Ward, Niigata City, is a special event to wrap up the summer where visitors can enjoy the collaboration of the sunset sinking into the Sea of Japan and fireworks. On the day, an opening event begins at 11:15 AM, and more than 15 food, beverage, and festival stalls will line up. Street performances and musical concerts are scheduled on stage, allowing visitors to enjoy various activities from daytime. The fireworks display begins at 7:30 PM, where spectators can fully enjoy powerful fireworks launched against the backdrop of the sky and sea in an open space unique to a port town. The venue is accessible on foot in about 15 minutes from JR Uchino Station, and a shuttle bus connecting Uchino Station and the venue will also operate on the day. Because parking is limited, the use of public transportation is recommended.
