About this event
The Autumn Festival will be held at Nagase Shrine, enshrined in Kamo City, Niigata Prefecture. Said to have been founded in the late 6th century, Nagase Shrine is affectionately known locally as 'Hachiman-sama.' At the festival, street stalls will line up, creating a lively atmosphere. In particular, approximately 100 dedicated fireworks will be launched at night, allowing visitors to enjoy fireworks illuminating the autumn night sky. In addition, Daidai Kagura sacred dances are scheduled to be dedicated during the festival period. It is an event where you can enjoy traditional festival rites and fireworks in a scenic location overlooking the clear waters of the Kamo River.
