Ro-Man 24 in Matsudai: The 36th 24-Hour Endurance Relay Marathon

About this event

This is a lifelong sports marathon event where teams of 10 runners take turns over 24 hours to compete for the number of laps run around a 2 km 130 m loop course using a sash relay. Marathon enthusiasts gather to encourage one another through 24 hours of running, aiming to foster friendship, perseverance, and teamwork. The event is open to general amateur runners who are high school students or older, with an entry fee of 50,000 yen per team. Applications are accepted for the first 30 teams, with up to 10 members per team. The deadline is Monday, August 17, 2026, but registration will close as soon as capacity is reached. The event will be held rain or shine, and the venues are the Matsudai Ground and Matsudai Cross-Country Ski Course. All finishing teams will receive a finisher certificate and a participation prize, with commemorative gifts also prepared based on the total distance completed.
