About this event

"Naie Yumepirika Fest 2026," held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Naie-cho, Hokkaido, is an autumn harvest event that showcases the charms of Naie-cho—one of Hokkaido's leading rice-producing areas—through food including the brand rice "Yumepirika," music, and interpersonal exchanges. Celebrating its 4th edition this year, it is bustling with many town residents and visitors from outside the town as a signature event representing Naie-cho. The venue features projects allowing visitors to taste Naie-grown Yumepirika, as well as gourmet food from eateries and food trucks inside and outside the town, and sales of agricultural and specialty products. In particular, all-you-can-eat freshly cooked new crop "Yumepirika" rice is offered for 500 yen, with many side dishes that pair well with rice prepared. In addition, new crop "Yumepirika" specially cultivated with reduced pesticides and reduced chemical fertilizers will be sold at special prices. On stage, events showcasing the charm of rice and "Town-Wide Live Music" will be held, along with hands-on activities that children and adults can enjoy. At the simultaneously held "Tyrannosaurus Race Naie 2026," visitors can enjoy a unique competition where participants race wearing Tyrannosaurus suits. The participation fee is 1,500 yen (tax included) for junior high school students and older, and 500 yen (tax included) for elementary school students and younger. It will be a day where producers, local businesses, various organizations, and town residents unite, allowing visitors to feel the food, culture, and connections unique to Naie-cho.
