About this event
The "Ginkgo Festival in Hiruno" returns after 9 years in the Hiruno district of Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture. As an event unique to the Hiruno district, one of the leading ginkgo nut production areas in the prefecture, fresh ginkgo nuts, ginkgo nut okowa (steamed sticky rice), locally grown vegetables, rice, and more will be sold. Activities that children can enjoy are also planned, making it a festival where visitors can fully enjoy autumn flavors and regional charm.
