Held at Momijiyama Park, one of Sado's foremost spots for autumn leaves, the "Momijiyama Festival" allows visitors to enjoy events while admiring beautiful fall foliage under the autumn sky. A highlight of this festival, which attracts many tourists from both within and outside the island, is the Okesa persimmon peeling contest, a unique activity that has earned great popularity. In addition, various stalls line the venue, creating an event packed with the charms of autumn in Sado. A performance by the Albirex Cheerleaders will also be presented to liven up the venue. It is truly an event condensing the autumn charms of Sado, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Momijiyama Park while experiencing Sado's seasonal tastes and culture.
