4th Kamisunagawa Round-the-Town Autumn Foliage Maranic

Held in Kamisunagawa Town, the smallest town by area in Hokkaido, the "4th Kamisunagawa Round-the-Town Autumn Foliage Maranic" takes participants on a loop around the town alongside autumn colors. Rather than competing for race times, this event is in a "maranic" style where participants run, walk, and savor at their own pace. Its appeal lies in enjoying beautiful nature and local specialties, with a course set up visiting famous spots such as Suigen Park, Japanese gardens, and the Kamisunagawa Coal Mine Museum. Up to 8 famous aid stations offer local delicacies such as roasted Ezo deer meat, smoked rainbow trout, and cheese. After crossing the finish line, refreshing relaxation awaits at Kamisunagawadake Onsen Panke-no-Yu, with an admission ticket included in the participation fee. Three courses—Family, Short, and Long—are available to match fitness levels and family compositions. Special guests Kensuke Tanaka and Kaori Aman are also scheduled to participate. Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and an onsen hot spring voucher. In addition, a post-finish "Reward Time" is prepared featuring handmade soba noodles, local sake, and tomato juice. Shuttle buses from JR Sapporo Station and JR Sunagawa Station are also available.
