About this event

At Naeba Ski Resort and Kagura Ski Resort in Yuzawa Town, Niigata Prefecture, the "Naeba Dragondola" and "Tashiro Ropeway" will operate for sightseeing in line with the autumn foliage season. On Japan's longest gondola lift, the 5,481m "Naeba Dragondola," passengers can enjoy an aerial walk of approximately 25 minutes one way while savoring the autumn foliage gradations created by the elevation difference from the summit to the base. A 360-degree grand panorama, Mount Naeba (one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains), and the clear Kiyotsu River can all be viewed. Furthermore, transferring from Tashiro Plateau to the "Tashiro Ropeway," which boasts Japan's highest clearance above ground at 230m, allows visitors to look down at the emerald green waters of Lake Futai and majestic autumn views. The "round-trip tour route enjoying two of Japan's bests at once," connecting Japan's longest dragondola and Japan's highest ropeway, offers a special experience unique to this season.
