A performance by the unique citizen orchestra "Echigo-Tsumari Kapukapu Orchestra," playing instruments handcrafted from disused farming and folk tools. Led by musician Jun Oka, the orchestra performs using handmade instruments crafted from old farming and folk tools that had been dormant in local warehouses and barns, delivering diverse tones at Echigo-Tsumari "Kamigo Clove Theatre." Under an open call regardless of musical experience, local residents from inside and outside the region join hands with leading professional musicians on the same stage to create an exciting musical chemistry. Performers include Echigo-Tsumari Kapukapu Orchestra (farming/folk tool instruments) and Jun Oka (tenor sax, flute), joined by guest musicians Yoichi Okabe (percussion) and Keisuke Furuki (bass). The permanent art installation "Farming Tools are Musical Instruments!" housed at the venue, Echigo-Tsumari "Kamigo Clove Theatre," can also be viewed on the day of the performance.
