The Hosoiri Festival, cherished annually in the Hosoiri area of Toyama City, is an autumn festival filled with local warmth. Held around the Hosoiri Central Community Center and Hosoiri Community Center, the event offers a packed lineup of programs for adults and children alike, including stage performances, a Fureai Police Exhibition (police car and motorcycle displays, crime prevention awareness), a Fire Station Plaza (fire engine and ambulance displays, water spraying experience), Self-Defense Forces vehicle displays, food and goods bazaars (local gourmet market, specialty products sales), a game corner, parent-child physical play, and a grand raffle. Indoors, visitors of all generations can enjoy stage performances by nursery schools, elementary schools, and the Jinzu Fureai Band, as well as a health exhibition, handmade crafts exhibition, photo gallery, and new sports experiences. With local junior high school students participating as volunteers, the entire venue is bright and lively, creating a comfortable festival where the people and culture of Hosoiri naturally come together.
