The "Oyabe Genki Festival 2026," featured on the Oyabe City official website, is a community event themed around health, welfare, sports, volunteering, and traffic safety. Designed for a wide range of age groups from young children to seniors, it offers content that families can enjoy together for health promotion and refreshment. At the venue, various health-related corners will be set up, including veggie checks and frailty prevention by the Dietary Improvement Promotion Council; "Crawling and Toddling Ready-Set-Go!" by the Maternal and Child Health Promoters Liaison Council (reservation required); body composition and grip strength measurements by the Health Volunteer Council; brain and blood vessel age measurements by the Zen-Tonami Pharmacists Association; oral health consultations; esports experiences (Taiko no Tatsujin, Mario Kart); dementia support consultations; and mental health consultations. In addition, sports experiences such as Enjoy Sports by the NPO Oyabe Sports Club, sign language, audio translation, brain training, and braille experiences by the Volunteer Liaison Council and Social Welfare Council, sales of food, beverages, and general goods at welfare shops, and the opening of the "Penguin" Toy Hospital will also take place. In the Lively Corner, an artwork exhibition and charity sale will be hosted by the Senior Citizens' Purpose in Life Center and the City Longevity Association Federation. In the Traffic Safety Corner, simulator experiences in the traffic safety education vehicle "Kiitsukenmai-car" and a police car exhibition will be conducted by the Oyabe Police Station and the Living Environment Division. Concurrently, the Oyabe City Senior Citizen Welfare Convention by the City Longevity Association Federation and stage performances by Sports Academy Oyabe Kids Dance, the Life Savings Gymnastics Promotion Association Oyabe Associate Branch, and Oyabe Sports Club are also scheduled.
