Umaoi Hills Flower Mountain Walk

Featured on Naganuma Town's official website Maoi Net, Umaoi Hills Flower Mountain Walk is a nature observation event held once a month from April to September along the Umaoi Nature Forest Trail. Accompanied by a mountaineering club guide, participants take a leisurely stroll through the Umaoi Hills while observing seasonal plants. The participation fee is 300 yen (including insurance), and advance registration is required due to insurance arrangements. The registration deadline is approximately one week before the event date. Past dates are also listed, indicating that soft windflowers (nirinsou) and Yedo corydalis (ezo-engosaku) can be seen in spring, followed by a variety of plants heading into summer. This event offers a precious opportunity to touch the rich vegetation of the Umaoi Hills while experiencing the changing seasons.
