14th Yuwaku Bonbori Festival (FY 2026)

About this event

Held in Yuwaku Onsen, the real-world setting that served as the model for the anime "Hanasaku Iroha," the community-led "Yuwaku Bonbori Festival" will take place. Recreating the ritual depicted in the work, this event immerses the Yuwaku Onsen townscape in a festive atmosphere. On the day of the event, admission restrictions will be in place; only guests staying overnight at Yuwaku Onsen, individual sponsors, and general admission ticket holders will be allowed entry to the venue. The venue is accessible by car in about 40 minutes from Kanazawa Station, about 30 minutes from Kanazawa-Higashi IC and Kanazawa-Morimoto IC, and about 40 minutes from Kanazawa-Nishi IC. Via public transportation, it is accessible within about a 3-minute walk from the Hokuriku Railroad bus stop "Yuwaku Onsen."
