This is the second part of 'THE Nihonga Exhibition,' introducing the Japanese-style painting (Nihonga) collection owned by Komatsu City. This exhibition displays Nihonga created from the late Edo period to modern times under the theme of 'Life and Vitality.' Through a group of works created using traditional Japanese techniques painted on paper or silk using natural materials such as mineral pigments dissolved in animal glue and sumi ink, and mounted as hanging scrolls or framed, visitors can savor their rich expressive world.
