Held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in the Yamanaka Onsen town of Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, the 'Yamanaka Umeemon Walk Rally 2026' is a revived food tour and exploration event celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Yamanaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division. At this event, you can simultaneously enjoy touring and tasting Yamanaka Onsen's exquisite gourmet dishes and sweets alongside a digital stamp rally visiting famous sights. On the day of the event, participants draw lots at reception to determine their course visiting 5 designated restaurants and shops. Featuring delicious items from Yamanaka Onsen town such as Kaga croquettes, onsen eggs, local famous confections, special sweets, and prepared side dishes, you can enjoy the treasure-hunt-like excitement of not knowing which shops you will get until the day. In parallel with the food tour, a digital stamp rally using smartphones will also be held, with checkpoints set at scenic spots representing Yamanaka Onsen's beautiful nature and sights, including Kakusenkei Gorge, Ayatori Bridge, and Korogi Bridge. Participants who collect all stamps and reach the goal will receive a wonderful event-exclusive commemorative gift. Strolling through the atmospheric streets of the hot spring town, this event is perfect for autumn to satisfy both your stomach and heart. The event runs in two parts—Part 1 (10:00–14:00) and Part 2 (13:00–17:00)—limited to 100 participants per session for a total of 200 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The participation fee is 2,500 yen (tax included), and since it is an advance-ticket system, no same-day tickets are available.
