About this event
A special night when the gondola at Shishiku Highland operates for night rides on the second Saturday of every month. Visitors can enjoy the sunset sinking into the Sea of Japan and the beautiful night view of the Tedori River alluvial fan along with the changing seasons. In 2026, it will be held on Saturday, May 9; Saturday, June 13; Saturday, July 11; Saturday, August 8; Saturday, September 12; and Saturday, October 10. The gondola operates from 10:00 to 20:00, with the last uphill boarding at 19:30. The round-trip fare is 710 yen for junior high school students and older, 300 yen for elementary school students, and free for preschool children. However, fares will be revised starting October 2026 to 950 yen for junior high school students and older and 420 yen for elementary school students. Please check in advance as contents may change or be canceled due to weather conditions.
