About this event

This is an experiential workshop where participants walk along the Sanpouiwa Trail inside the Hakusan Shirakawago White Road, deepen their understanding of forests, and learn about the topography of gorges and waterfalls, as well as the flora and fauna in the Jadatani Gorge. While enjoying a walk with a guide in Hakusan where the signs of autumn can be felt, the guide will explain in an easy-to-understand manner the origin of Jadatani's nature, plants, and the secrets of mountain creatures. Let's walk together towards the spectacular view of Hakusan overlooking from the observation deck. We will contemplate the landforms created by water and stone, such as valleys deeply carved by running water and avalanches, exposed rugged rock faces, virgin beech forests remaining in Jadatani, and waterfalls showing various expressions.
