Held in Hodatsushimizu Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, "[Reconstruction Prayer] Hodatsushimizu Grand Fireworks 2026" is organized with prayers for recovery from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake under the concept of "Ganbaro Noto, Minna ga Genki ni! (Hang in there Noto, everyone stay strong!)". This fireworks festival aims to bring emotion and excitement to disaster victims and townspeople through the "power of fireworks," bringing smiles and energy. The fireworks display is handled by local Noto Enka Co., Ltd., which has won numerous championships at the National Star Mine Competition, generously showcasing its craftsmanship ranging from nostalgic fireworks to state-of-the-art displays. On the day of the event, alongside the fireworks, stage events such as the sale of local gourmet foods and specialty goods, as well as performance arts by town organizations, will be held, making it an event that many town residents can enjoy. Noto Enka, located in the Higashima district, which was once a village of pyrotechnicians, will launch impressive fireworks. In addition, stage events featuring wild dances of local lion dances (shishimai) and numerous food stalls will add to the lively atmosphere.
