Kuzuryu Autumn Foliage Festival

Held around Lake Kuzuryu, known as one of Fukui Prefecture's premier autumn foliage spots, the Kuzuryu Autumn Foliage Festival is an event where visitors can fully enjoy an autumn day amidst beautiful fall colors. Held annually during peak foliage season, the festival offers delicious local autumn delicacies and famous Ono confections. In addition, stage events and hands-on workshops are provided to entertain visitors. While taking in the stunning views of autumn foliage created by the vast dam lake and dynamic mountain scenery, visitors can savor local seasonal flavors, watch stage performances such as taiko drumming and dance by local elementary school students, and let children play in dedicated recreation areas. The Autumn Foliage Market offers fresh local vegetables for direct sale along with food and beverage stalls, while the Exchange Market sells seasonal flavors from Ono City's partner municipalities. Food trucks will also be present, providing a rich variety of gourmet offerings.
