Held in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, the "75th 2026 Takefu Chrysanthemum Dolls" is known as one of Japan's three major chrysanthemum doll exhibitions, featuring approximately 20,000 chrysanthemum plants adorning the venue. In 2026, under the theme "Echizen Yokai Stories - A Little Spooky, But Fun," chrysanthemum dolls modeled after yokai (supernatural creatures) passed down in Echizen City will be exhibited, enveloping the entire venue in a world of yokai. In addition to chrysanthemum dolls and floral displays, a variety of attractions are prepared, including the "Takefu Revue" by the OSK Nippon Revue Company, large amusement rides such as a carousel and monorail, a food court where local cuisine can be enjoyed, and the Kikurin Market offering local specialties and souvenirs. Photo spots where visitors can take commemorative photos with yokai chrysanthemum dolls are also set up, allowing everyone to enjoy an eerie yet delightful space woven by chrysanthemums and yokai. With various events held on weekends as well, it is an event that can be enjoyed throughout the day by children and adults alike.
