About this event
The "27th Shintotsukawa Taste Festival" will be held, bringing together autumn delicacies that Shintotsukawa Town takes pride in, such as newly harvested rice and special mushroom soup. Visitors can enjoy tasting newly harvested Yumepirika rice produced in the town and "freshly ground, freshly kneaded, freshly boiled" new soba noodles. Of particular note is the taste-festival-exclusive mushroom soup made in a giant pot, using plenty of buna-shimeji mushrooms from Totsukawa Village, Nara Prefecture, which the town looks up to as its mother village. Furthermore, there is also a chance to win 1 hyo (bale) of newly harvested rice in the fun lottery.
