Pride Parade Yamanashi & Marche

About this event

Pride Parade Yamanashi, being held for the first time in Yamanashi Prefecture, and a Marche will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Kofu Station North Exit Yocchabare Plaza. This event respects diversity and is open to everyone, including LGBTQ+ individuals, family, friends, allies, and local residents. Through the parade, diverse people will gather, get to know one another, and create opportunities to connect. At the venue, a drag queen talk show and photo session, as well as a food and goods market (marche), are planned, offering an environment where even first-time participants can feel at ease and enjoy themselves. Under the slogan "From knowing, to walking together," the event sends a message from Yamanashi toward a future where everyone can live authentically as themselves. The parade covers a route of approximately 2.5 km around Kofu Station, with the market opening at 11:00 AM and the parade starting at 2:00 PM on the day. The event will be held rain or shine, but may be cancelled in the event of severe weather.
