About this event
"Kofu Mt. Fuji Art Festival 2026" is a wide-area art project taking place across 17 venues in Yamanashi Prefecture. Art unfolds against the backdrop of Yamanashi's historic structures, including temples, former sake breweries, memorial halls, and art museums. Spanning the Kofu, Kyohoku, Kyonan, and Fuji Five Lakes areas, this experiential art festival intersects contemporary art with historical local figures and traditional crafts. Under the theme of "Inspiration! Experience! Discovery!", visitors can enjoy a one-month art festival fusing contemporary artists with local cultural resources. In Kofu City in particular, ART SPACE Yume will host exhibitions from Saturday, October 31 to Sunday, November 8 featuring artists Ayaka Kobayashi, Miko Shinkawa, Yuka Hiroshima, and Reina. This festival is a rare opportunity to experience the fusion of Yamanashi's rich culture and contemporary art.
