As Japan's world-renowned wine prefecture, Yamanashi Prefecture is advancing various initiatives in collaboration with winery organizations to promote branding and expand sales channels for prefectural wine. The Yamanashi Wine and Spirits Manufacturers' Association holds the "Yamanashi Nouveau Festival" in various locations every November to widely promote the appeal of Yamanashi Nouveau and allow more people to taste its excellence. At this event, new-vintage wines crafted with great care by each winery are offered for tasting and direct purchase. Starting with the event at Tokyo Metropolitan Shiba Park on the release date, it is also held at Kose Sports Park in Kofu City as a Prefectural Citizen's Day commemorative event, where new wines from wineries within the prefecture can be enjoyed. In this season of beautiful autumn foliage, please come and find your favorite wine. Yamanashi Nouveau is a "crystal of gratitude and joy" nurtured by the land of Yamanashi and the passion of its creators, characterized by fresh and fruity aromas and flavors. It can be enjoyed with a wide range of Western and Japanese dishes, and as "Yamanashi Nouveau: Beaujolais isn't the only Nouveau," organizers hope to enjoy it with everyone across the nation as a wine celebrating and giving thanks for this year's harvest in Japan.
