About this event

The outdoor festival/rave "SOMA FESTIVAL 2026," where music, art, and nature intersect, will be held for the first time from Saturday, October 17, 2026 to Sunday, October 18, 2026 at "Village Hakushu" in Hakushu, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Based on the concept of "Sound Of My Animism," SOMA provides a special space and time slightly away from everyday life as an outdoor festival/rave centered on music and installations. Set in a forest overlooking Mount Kaikoma in the Southern Alps, it combines DJ, LIVE, spatial presentation, installations, art, food, and markets to create an overnight experience on a scale of about 250 to 300 people. SOMA STAGE and PANORAMA STAGE will be set up at the venue, offering a diverse range of music without genre boundaries, including DUB, HOUSE, DISCO, TECHNO, REGGAE, and HIPHOP. On SOMA STAGE, VJ, lighting, and stage design are integrated in addition to DJ/LIVE, and on PANORAMA STAGE, the mobile disco project "PANORAMA DISCO" deploys its original sound system. Inside the venue, shops and creators from culture scenes mainly in Kanto and Kansai, as well as local businesses around Hakushu and Hokuto City, will participate, aiming to create a place connecting cities and nature, music and local communities. Visitors can gain experiences where new sensations and communication are born through encounters not only with music, but also with the rich nature and culture of Hakushu and local people.
