The "Autumn Hokuto Travel Walk (Masutomi Autumn Leaves Festival Walk)" held in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is an event where visitors can enjoy breathtaking seasonal scenery woven by mountains dyed in autumn colors, the white Rokumeikyo Bridge spanning Lake Mizugaki, and vibrant autumn views reflected on the lake's surface. Tsusenkyo Gorge, which is normally closed to traffic, is specially opened exclusively for this day, welcoming visitors with breathtakingly beautiful autumn leaves. Walking around Lake Mizugaki and Masutomi Radium Onsen Gorge—often called the hidden hot springs of Shingen—participants can feel the deepening autumn. Two types of courses are selectable: the Family Course of approximately 10.5km and the Walker Course of approximately 14km. The autumn foliage of Tsusenkyo Gorge will be a special experience that can only be enjoyed on this walk.
