Classical Concert for Ages 0 and Up

About this event

'Classical Concert for Ages 0 and Up', held in Kai City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is a special event where families with small children can enjoy classical music with peace of mind. Under the concept of 'It's okay to cry! It's okay to make noise!', authentic orchestra performances will present a 'First Classical Concert'. The program includes J. Offenbach's Overture to the operetta 'Orpheus in the Underworld', selections from P. Tchaikovsky's ballet suite 'Swan Lake', and Joe Hisaishi's 'Orchestra Stories: My Neighbor Totoro', offering familiar and family-friendly musical pieces. At the venue, thorough care is provided with diaper-changing and nursing rooms as well as stroller parking areas. A mini concert will also be held in the lobby when the doors open, allowing visitors to experience music even before the performance begins. This concert is also positioned as a 30th anniversary commemorative project for the opening of the Kai City Futaba Fureai Cultural Hall.
