About this event
This is an overnight hands-on workshop aimed at 3rd-grade elementary school students through 3rd-grade junior high school students, designed to deepen understanding of forests and forestry through hands-on activities interacting with nature and wood. In the woodworking class, participants can take home the crafts they create. In the forestry experience, entering a real forest provides a valuable opportunity to learn about trees. Participants also experience preparing meals themselves, learning the importance of food through cooking breakfast and dinner. Furthermore, they can experience catching trout by hand, a classic summer tradition, making it a program to fully enjoy nature. The entire schedule is 2 days and 1 night, with 2 sessions scheduled. Each session has a capacity of 20 participants, and the participation fee is 2,000 yen. Applications can be made by bringing the details in person, by postcard, fax, or email, clearly stating the participant's address, full name, gender, school grade, age, parent/guardian's full name, phone number, email address, and preferred date. The application period is from Monday, July 13, 2026 (Reiwa 8) to Wednesday, August 26, 2026 (Reiwa 8).
