Japanese name:早川キッズレンジャーキャンプ 哺乳類調査隊
📅 Sat, Nov 21, 2026 - Mon, Nov 23, 2026
About this event
This camp is a program where children collaborate with peers to conduct wildlife surveys and conservation activities. The autumn theme is 'Mammals,' where participants investigate forest-dwelling animals—centered on Japanese squirrels—utilizing field signs (animal tracks/traces), sensor-activated trail cameras, traps, and more. Kids Rangers discuss and decide on survey details together, and they can also experience outdoor cooking. Accommodation is in forest cottages, spending enjoyable time with fellow participants. The target audience is elementary school 2nd graders through junior high school 3rd graders.
